Terms & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

1. Scope and Provider

These Terms apply to all contracts concluded via this website between you and

Tino Schaumlöffel, Physiotherapy Practice / SERENDIPITY HEALTH, Emilienstraße 21, 66424 Homburg, Germany, email: info@serendipityhealth.de

Deviating terms of the client do not apply unless expressly agreed in writing.

2. Services

The content and scope of each service (e.g. screenings, training plans, self-guided, video-guided or in-person programmes) are set out in the service description on the Services page at the time of booking.

Online sessions take place via video call (Cliniko). In-person sessions take place at the practice in Homburg, Germany.

3. Conclusion of Contract

The presentation of services on this website is not a binding offer. By completing the payment process via our payment provider Stripe, you submit a binding offer to conclude a contract. The contract is concluded when we confirm your booking by email, at the latest when we begin to provide the service.

The contract language is English.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices are stated in euros. Physiotherapeutic services are exempt from VAT pursuant to § 4 No. 14 (a) of the German VAT Act (UStG).

Payment is due in advance and is processed via Stripe. The available payment methods are shown during checkout.

5. Appointments and Rescheduling

Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment by email to info@serendipityhealth.de. Earlier notice is appreciated, as it allows for better planning.

Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance or missed without notice will be charged in full. You are free to prove that no loss or a significantly lower loss has been incurred.

Programmes (4 or 8 weeks) start with the first session. Sessions that have not been used expire 12 months after purchase.

6. Your Cooperation

Our services are based on the information you provide. Please answer the questionnaire, including the safety check, completely and truthfully and inform us promptly about any relevant changes to your health.

7. Nature of the Services and Health Notice

Our services are provided within the professional scope of a physiotherapist. They do not replace medical diagnosis or treatment by a doctor. For acute, severe symptoms please see a doctor; in an emergency, call your local emergency number.

No specific result can be guaranteed, as outcomes depend on individual factors and your own cooperation.

If, based on your information or the assessment, medical clarification or the involvement of another healthcare professional appears necessary, we may pause or decline the service. In this case, payments for services not yet provided will be refunded.

8. Digital Content

Questionnaires, plans and other documents provided to you are for your personal use only and may not be passed on, published or used commercially.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health.

In the case of slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of an essential contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment you may regularly rely), limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.

10. Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details are set out in the cancellation policy below. You can withdraw quickly online via our withdrawal function.

11. Dispute Resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

12. Final Provisions

German law applies. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence.

Should individual provisions of these Terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.

Cancellation Policy – Right of Withdrawal

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Tino Schaumlöffel, Physiotherapy Practice / SERENDIPITY HEALTH, Emilienstraße 21, 66424 Homburg, Germany, email: info@serendipityhealth.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You can also use our online withdrawal function. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

For services, the right of withdrawal expires once the service has been fully performed, if you expressly requested that we begin performance before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal upon full performance.

For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. the downloadable questionnaire), the right of withdrawal expires once we have begun to perform the contract, if you expressly consented to this before the end of the withdrawal period, acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and we have provided you with confirmation of the contract.
